I am contacting you today as one of your constituents about the horrific events happening between the Republic of Artsakh and Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan’s ongoing blockade of the Lachin Corridor prevents the people of Artsakh from receiving food, medical supplies, and energy desperately needed for heating during the winter. Since December 12th, 2022, Azerbaijan has inflicted this humanitarian crisis onto the people of Artsakh. The U.S. must take a stand against dictators like Azerbaijan’s Ilham Aliyev and make it known that such acts of aggression cannot be tolerated. The Administration must fully enforce Section 907 of the Freedom of Support Act and stop military funding for oil rich Azerbaijan. The Lachin Corridor must be reopened!
