About Us

Our Mission

At the Armenian Council of America (ACA), we are committed to promoting the well-being, unity, and progress of the Armenian-American community. Our mission is to empower our community, protect our heritage, and advocate for justice and human rights. We work tirelessly to raise awareness about important issues affecting Armenians in the United States and around the world.

Who We Are

Established in 1979, ACA is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that brings together individuals, community leaders, and advocates dedicated to advancing the Armenian cause. We serve as a bridge between the Armenian diaspora and policymakers, advocating for policies and actions that reflect the interests and values of our community.

Our Focus Areas

  1. Recognition and Justice: ACA is a staunch advocate for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. We work to ensure that the historical truth is acknowledged and that justice is served for the victims and their descendants.
  2. Community Empowerment: We strive to empower the Armenian-American community by fostering cultural preservation, education, and civic engagement.
  3. Human Rights: ACA is committed to upholding human rights, both in the United States and around the world. We are dedicated to raising awareness about human rights violations and advocating for justice.

What We Do

  • Advocacy: ACA actively engages with government officials, legislators, and organizations to advance policies that are important to our community.
  • Awareness: We promote awareness through educational initiatives, cultural events, and information campaigns.
  • Community Support: We offer support and resources to individuals and groups working toward shared goals within the Armenian-American community.
