ACA Leadership Meets with High-Level Armenian Government Delegation
Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, and Lilit Makunts, former Ambassador to the United States and current Advisor to the Prime Minister, visited the Western United States headquarters of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) as part of a series of meetings with community organizations in Southern California.
The delegation was received by members of the SDHP Central Committee, the Western United States SDHP Executive Body, and the leadership of the Armenian Council of America.
The meeting featured a productive discussion on Armenia’s domestic and foreign policy challenges, including concerns about efforts to destabilize the country by certain foreign and internal groups.
Attendees highlighted the importance of unity, vigilance, and coordinated national resilience to counter these threats. They also proposed strategies to strengthen the bond between the Homeland and the Diaspora in addressing Armenia’s complex challenges.
The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to continue dialogue and cooperation, reaffirming the shared goal of advancing Armenia’s democratic values, statehood, and sovereignty.
