Honoring a Champion: Rep. Frank Pallone Receives ACA Integrity Award

The Armenian Council of America was proud to present the Stepan Sapah-Gulian Integrity Award to U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) in recognition of his decades of unwavering leadership on Armenian American issues. ACA Executive Director for Government Relations Taniel Koushakjian delivered the award during a special presentation in Congressman Pallone’s office on Capitol Hill. Rep. Pallone co-founded the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues in 1995 and has served as a Co-Chair on the bi-partisan body ever since. His work has been instrumental in advancing U.S. recognition of the Armenian Genocide, strengthening U.S.-Armenia relations, and championing policies rooted in human rights and accountability.

“Congressman Pallone’s leadership in Congress on Armenia and Armenian American issues has been exemplary,” said Taniel Koushakjian, ACA Executive Director of Government Affairs in Washington, DC. “This award recognizes not just his decades of service, but a standard of integrity and courage that continues to shape U.S. policy and inspire future generations,” Koushakjian said.

The award honors individuals whose integrity, courage, and commitment to justice reflect the legacy of Stepan Sapah-Gulian. Congressman Pallone’s long-standing leadership as Co-Chair of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues has made a lasting impact on the Armenian American community and U.S. foreign policy.
