The Armenian Council of America was proud to present the\u00a0Stepan Sapah-Gulian Integrity Award<\/strong>\u00a0to U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) in recognition of his decades of unwavering leadership on Armenian American issues. ACA Executive Director for Government Relations Taniel Koushakjian delivered the award during a special presentation in Congressman Pallone\u2019s office on Capitol Hill. Rep. Pallone co-founded the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues in 1995 and has served as a Co-Chair on the bi-partisan body ever since. His work has been instrumental in advancing U.S. recognition of the Armenian Genocide, strengthening U.S.-Armenia relations, and championing policies rooted in human rights and accountability.<\/p>\n

\u201cCongressman Pallone\u2019s leadership in Congress on Armenia and Armenian American issues has been exemplary,\u201d said Taniel Koushakjian, ACA Executive Director of Government Affairs in Washington, DC. \u201cThis award recognizes not just his decades of service, but a standard of integrity and courage that continues to shape U.S. policy and inspire future generations,\u201d Koushakjian said.<\/p>\n
